Really impressed with these. Its incredible that $100 can buy this good sound quality these days. Overall slightly warm tonal balance, just to the warm side of neutral. Very solid bass (I was actually surprised how much bass comes through on certain songs given these seem to have a reputation for being bass-lite). Mids are clean and clear and let a fair amount of detail come through. Vocals and guitars sound great on these. Mids are lacking a bit in texture but at this price point they're very well done. Highs are crisp without verging into sibilance.
Not to mention they come with a nice case, 2 cables (though the mic cable is quite flimsy), several tip options, and are very comfortable. These have now replaced my stalwart TDK BA200s as my everyday, go to IEM. The TDKs are still a bit more comfortable for me since they have a smaller housing, but the EDC3 SQ is a bit better and having the mic cable makes them more versatile for me.
After 6 months using these, I wanted to reiterate how impressed I am. It's incredible how good they sound for $100. They are a true jack of all trades, with no apparent weakness across the frequency range; they perfectly accomplish the mission of an EDC IEM. Sure I'd love a smidge more bass or vocal texture, but it would be ridiculous to quibble based on how much I paid. If you're on the fence just buy them - I doubt you'll be disappointed.
