have to disregard a review massdrop biases, accurate or not =\
Please read the description in the video. Thanks.
irrelevant and hard for viewers to believe once stickied
you can believe whatever the heck you want bud. I'm not here to change your mind
The box he opens in the video review litterally says - Be Live 5.... Is this a joke?
Chill Its a prototype box.
And basically this was built in line with the belive 5, which makes sense.
or they are rebranded Belive 5s that you can get right now on Amazon...
Or they are completely different in sound because you claimed this before and Nuforce themselves replied with "no it is not the same sound."
He really defends it like he's being paid eh?
I've never been paid for any of my reviews since day 1. If I am sponsored, I say it with pride because I deserve to make money for my work. I would gladly turn down any cash if I don't like the product.
Sure you would.
But it is the law anyway to say if your video is sponsored or not, so your pride would only be 2nd.
Why would you expect to be able to intuit Soulsik's unstated motives for writing a positive review? That's a less credible claim than any he's made, and also irrelevant to this thread, since he's said he wasn't paid for this review.
Also, whoever stickied the review did so because it was positive, right? But why would you presume to know it was dishonest because it was positive and stickied? Just because a review is cited by a company doesn't mean the reviewer is corrupt.
That said, this seemed to be a review for beginners. The reviewer states general advantages to the Strides that are shared by several other brands and iterations. It's as though a pair of Strides were delivered to Soulsik through a time machine and he compared them to other IEMs from years before (including their comparative convenience to the inconvenience of non-BT IEMs, which seems more like a review of bluetooth itself than of the Strides).
I would never accuse the reviewer of being dishonest, but I would say that much of this review is irrelevant to my criteria for selecting a pair of bluetooth IEMs.
You are correct in the sense it doesn't prove bias, but nobody should be shown any favor from the company selling the product.
That said, don't ressurect necro posts
So according to you, a company can't like a youtube review of their product and because they pinned my review, it discredits me. Which means all the major hifi publications displayed for multiple brand products like audeze, sennheiser, etc on their website is all bs and should not be trusted.
Very logical. Love it.
You're definitely entitled to your opinion about relevance, Uzuzu, but you can't expect everyone to share your priorities. The way I see it,
Additionally, the thread attaches to what is (for now) one of the main reviews of these BT IEMs, so people are going to have thoughts.
So, to sum:
(Edited for sense; the attempt to be tactful and constructive remains the same)
- a 16-week-old thread is not a "necro conversation" and
- the conversation becomes especially relevant whenever (a) this drop is activated, (b) someone is seeking opinions on a similar product and/or (c) someone receives their shipment from this drop.
Well, I tried to be polite.
The first part of "coping," Uzuzu, light o' my life, is developing an adult-sized attention span. You might not realize this, but others can carry on correspondences for years without throwing down edicts, writing acrostic sentences in all caps, or expecting the world to conform to their POV a la mope.
You keep telling us not to resurrect a "necro thread," but what about your part in it? You're as involved in the continuation of this "necro thread" as anyone else.
Good for you bud. Good for you.
