The metro, the underground, the subway: Whatever you call it, the train system is an integral part of daily life for many city dwellers and commuters. Designed by Oblotzky, the brains behind the upcoming Oblivion set, the Massdrop x Oblotzky Metro SA Custom Keycap Set is an ode to public transportation—and, more specifically, to metro line 18 into the German city of Cologne. A colorful ensemble of green, blue, red, yellow, and purple set on a backdrop of crisp white, the Metro set resembles a map of intersecting train routes. And it’s only available here on Massdrop.
Note: To avoid errors/confusion with the current checkout system, we will be changing the drop points manually for this drop. We are paying attention to the number of child kits being bought as well. If they reach certain quantities, we will adjust their prices accordingly. Thick PBT Plastic in Row 3 SA Profile
Never before done in a group buy, this set of row 3 SA profile keycaps is uniform in height. Made from dye-sublimated PBT plastic, they feature legends that won’t rub off over time. Considered the keycap material of choice for most, PBT is hard, thick, and resistant to the shine that occurs from oils on the fingers.

This set will cover the most common keyboard layouts like full-size and tenkeyless boards, plus a variety of special layouts like 65%, 96-key, and Winkeyless. This post gives a breakdown of the supported layouts.

Unlike the Metropolitan set, this set can be used in multiple ways to cover your ortholinear keyboard. With it, you can flip the design upside down and ditch either of the top or bottom rows to fit your Planck. Two spots were carefully left blank to accommodate the optional 2U space bar, too. You could even try laying the tracks out differently to change things up.
