I've received my keyboard, but after two days, it has died. It no longer powers on. How can I get help in troubleshooting or a replacement?
Nevermind. It wasn't obvious to me that flashing the firmware was the way to resolve this. I followed this lovely guide from Massdrop, but without the hardware, after realizing on my Ubuntu install that the keyboard was still recognized under lsusb. I just downloaded the QMK Toolbox for macOS and flashed the default firmware. It's a bit disconcerting that the keyboard will lock up and go unresponsive randomly, but I can live with it.
Update: Now my keyboard layout is totally scrambled, just after connecting my laptop to a monitor hub to which the keyboard was attached. Flashing the firemware and resetting the EEPROM don't resolve the issue, and I generally can't use it.
Final update. It was a defective board, and Massdrop were so kind in replacing it. The replacement has been working well for weeks, besides two or three freezes. Many thanks to the team!
It turns out the unit was defective, and the Massdrop team were very kind to replace it. Cheers!
