Right ear keeps cutting out
So I have a PC38x headset that I bought a few years back. I moved away from home for work, and left the headset there with my gaming PC. I used it maybe 2 or 3 times before I left, and it always had the problem of it cutting out in my right ear phone. It makes like a crackling noise like something is loose, and then cuts out the audio entirely. Sometimes it works for a few minutes, but inevitably cuts out on the right side again. I am wondering if there is a fix? Or could I be shipped a new one?

Quality of materials: I like the gloss black plastic headband. The quality of the mesh both inside and out are first rate metal screens that protect the drivers well.
Comfort: At first they clamped tightly, but I have worked to loosen them up and now are quite comfortable. The pads are great and I've gotten used to them and the pressure in less than a day.
Sound quality: absolutely superb. I find myself gravitating to these over the Bose or speaker because of the detail they reveal. In my opinion they are very flat and true to the sound which is what I wanted. The sound stage is much improved for me as I feel like I can tell apart the different instruments to a greater degree. The separation is perfect. Not too unaturally wide but not narrow either. Highs are right on target, not emphasized nor under. Bass is good too with the same description. I don't like headphones that amp up the bass unnaturally. These don't. My enthusiasm is evident, I'll bet. A definite upgrade to my listening pleasure. And for $149 dollars! Well done Massdrop and Sennheiser. Very well done.
