As I am new to the audiophile scene I am quite impressed by these headphones. As i only had the HD439 before, these offer a sound stage that is amazing. It really spreads out the instruments and sounds that it produces. However I only have one problem with the headphones. As I have a Fiio E10k, I dont know if its the amp or the headphones, there is a crackling sound during certain songs at certain moments. For example, a song this happens in is Past Lives by Borns. As I am new to this scene is this problem coming from the amp or the headphones?

FrappuccinoThat is likely not due to the headphones as they are unlikely to cause a crackling. The issue more likely lies in your source, a wire, connection or your amp.

elementechoI actually heard that it can be part of the mastering of the song. Many producers can add on effect to add this sound into the songs

FrappuccinoThat is a possibility, I have not heard it in the music I tend to listen to. Do you hear the cracking when watching movies/tv/videos or playing games?
