These are not in the 5xx family. The name is deceiving but these are a member of the 580/600/650/660 family and although it hasn't been confirmed that I know of I assume they are made in Ireland.

Per the other responses, these are Made in Ireland and belong to the 6xx family.

They are sort of in the 500 family but it's the old 500 family not the new one. The old 500 family included the 580 and the 565 among multiple others that used this same modular design as used on the 600 line. They were also made in Ireland.

Yeah, the naming convention is confusing a lot of people. I think it boils down to trying to pay homage to the HD 580 Jubilee that was effectively the starting point of the whole line, while presenting a new driver and new price entry point.
