Now for the biggest question that needs an answer.
What will be the first song that you will listen to, on the new headphone?
Mine will be "moon & bouquet" by sayuri
Ghost Division by Sabaton.
Coheed and Cambria - The Crowing or some tracks by Dj Okawari, always a good bet.
Papa Was A Rolling Stone - The Temptations
Billie Jean - Michael Jackson
These are always the first two songs I play whenever I get a new set of ear or headphones.
The Crowing, great choice.
Thick As A Brick by Jethro Tull, or Siegfried's Death and Funeral March.
Having just listened to and gifting a pair of iconic HD580's & a modded
Aune T1, I'm now looking for new cans as grad rig gifts for next year. I have been waiting to hear the reviews on the HD58X's. On the top 100 Billboard list for 1994, the year the HD580 was released, Tom Petty was singing "Mary Jane's Last Dance", if the reviews meet expectations, and I pick some up, it would be my song choice (yes, I would listen to them;)
Stay, from the Interstellar soundtrack, by Hans Zimmer.
Same first song I always use to shop for speakers and headphones—Firth of Fifth, from Selling England by the Pound (Genesis).
That's a great song and excellent test track. I just listened for the first time. Thanks.
On the Floor by IceJJFish. I found that it has a very good tonality in the instruments around the part where Mr. Fish says "She wants to take it slow. I'm not that type of guy, I'll let you know."
