How does earpad replacements work for these Massdrop headphones? Will we be able to buy replacement earpad from Massdrop?

Any HD 6x0 series earpads will work.

Replacements for this headphone are plentiful. They're easy to change just by pulling off the old one and pressing new ones in. Takes all of 2 minutes.

There's also the Dekoni pads on here. But that's a love/hate relationship.

I personnaly would'nt recommand them : they're really comfortable but made my hd 600 and 650 sound blurred and muddy. Seems like the hd 6xx serie is extremly reactive to earpads change.

I think this is so overblown. The change, if at all, is so small and negligible. The issue tends to come from seal as the Dekoni pad opening is different than the stock one. I have to position my ears a bit differently to get an equivalent seal. When I do, they match the stock pads in SQ. And depending on the pad, usually the sheepskin, they can even add more brightness in upper registers: https://dekoniaudio.com/frequency-response-curve-new-dekoni-sennheiser-hd600-pads/. Even looking at all of them, the sonic changes are incredibly minor across the board.

Apparently the only pads that work are STOCK. Sennheiser has the magic dust lockdown
