“New 150 ohm drivers make the headphones easier to drive from sources like your mobile phone”
“Comes with 6’ cable”
Made me lol.

ducksonetimeAre you implying that it is an absolute MUST to have an amp/DAC?

ducksonetimeOr just that it’s stupid to lug around a 6’ cable connected to a phone ;)

ManbearI think that he is implying that the cable is too long to be used with your mobile phone Comfortably. You usually want a cable around 2-3 feet for "portable" headphones. Not a cable that reaches the ground and then some.

Aika_FuwaThis. It's no big deal, I prefer longer cables, I usually just braid them if they're too long. But it just made me laugh is all...

ducksonetimeMaybe it's for people who coils their cables all around the phone like a ball of yarn...
Aika_FuwaHoly cow! I like short headphone cables, but 2 feet??
ducksonetimeGiven these are open back, you shouldnt really be using them to commute or generally while moving. They're intended as a stationary headphone, but instead of having to buy more things (amps, etc) to enjoy them, you can plug these right into the device you have, be it a phone or a laptop.
I've used them "on-the-go" for fun to test if the 6ft cable is manageable, which it is for me, but ultimately this is a pretty sub-optimal usecase for any open back headphone.

ducksonetimeand that's short for audio pros. People with phones shouldn't plug in a big Sennheiser in it directly.
