@AveryC This is exactly what ticks me off about MassDrop...
All the people that participated on the inaugural drop now have to wait anywhere from two weeks to a month to get these headphones, and now they offer them, ready to ship, with the option for faster delivery for an additional fee!
Dammit guys, please offer expedited shipping for all drops! Give us the option to pay extra to have orders delivered faster! Damned FedEx SmartPost is slow as hell, especially for international customers!!
Here's my example: the headphones shipped last Friday, the 22nd, FedEx hands off to the USPS, who then send it to Puerto Rico by sea barge... expected delivery is for July 16, or 25 days later. They almost never deliver on the expected day, and they definitely never deliver before the expected day, so it's safe to add a couple more days... and that is if the pacakge doesn't become lost in transit, which happens remarkably often with SmartPost.
I can't cancel my original order, and that I understand due to MDs business model, but please give us faster delivery options guys!
I was one of the first 500, and I'd bet that the people in the new drop starting tomorrow will have their HD58X's before I have mine.
Yep, that's probably what will happen.
I didn't join the first drop because it was half a year away, maybe more if there's a delay. I'm glad I made that decision.

I don't care about that stupid serial number crap, it means nothing to me. If it came with extras or special cables or colors or something then it might be worth it but it's the same headphone with different number, nothing more.
Agreed. I don't care about serialization either, but MassDrop announced they would offer ready to ship units after they sent out the original drop units and with the option of faster shipping. That's kinda a slap in the face to the original drop participants. At least that's the way I see it.
Exactly. They haven't even fulfilled their commitment to the people who purchased over 6 months ago.
