Another question for those who listen to records with these headphones, how do you do it without your head hurting? After 1 record my head is exhausted and it sort of hurts, what am I doing wrong here?

IdiotequeIf the problem is too high clamping force, that can easily be adjusted (with care). How to do it is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNxK-NwSR5U
Easy to adjust and re-adjust. JUST do not bend the plastic...just the metal.

GrochThanks for that I will try that.
my main issue is my head is just exhausted after an album. My ears are kind of hot and i feel a throbbing pain in my head as if someone screamed in my ear or i hit my head on something. Trying to figure how to get past that since most people use headphones for records

IdiotequeThey will loosen up over time, you can use the adjustment method in the video above, and/or you can store them on a stack of books that's the width of your head when you aren't using them. After a while they WILL get better. The pads will also start to conform to the shape of you head as you use them which will also increase comfort. I've just used the book method and time method with all of my HD6xx series headphones and they're all quite comfortable now.

IdiotequeI listen to records with mine all the time, never had issues with sound causing headaches.. Have used 2 different turntables with 2 different carts going through the same pre-amp (schiit magni) into a darkvoice..
