Nice complement to my far costlier HiFiMAN planars.
Stretching of the headband was definitely required (wish I'd realized that back when I briefly owned the HD 650). I "train" mine with a standard DVD case when not on my head. Not a huge fan of velour pads, so will likely try one of the lambskin Dekonis eventually.
Kudos to Massdrop and Sennheiser.
Easy does it Sancho. I don't like velour either so I bought New Fantasia lambskin pads. They totally altered the sound in a way that did not sound better. Seemed to absorb all the energy from the headphone. I had hoped they would be less absorbent and livelier. Nope. I don't think I'm going to bother trying Dekoni.
