Very good headphones, clear central vocals. Highs are made so that it's an enjoyable listening experience at high volumes with no fatigue. Midrange is slightly colored like all Sennheiser headphones, but very detailed and balanced. Low end is deep and impactful, even when I removed the foam from the headphone cups. The weakest point in the build in my opinion is where the headband connects to the cups, other than that it's a long lasting classic Sennheiser retro style build made with metal and dense durable plastic. I like these HD58x a lot more than the HD650 where I felt they tried to widen the sound stage and the vocals felt unfocused and never connected in the center, also the Jubilees have better low end. I'm not an audiophile expert, this is just my opinion. Sennheiser HD 58x Jubilee is a definite recommendation for anyone who wants to experience and enjoy natural sounding music, possibly good even for recording and mastering.
