Great headphone, enjoy these way more than my Fostex TR-X00 (and they cost 3 times more!)
Music is very detailed, bass I would say is just right and imaging is perfect.
I don't know what to say about the comfort, because i can wear any type of headphones without a problem (for example m50x's comfort never bothered me)
You can take them apart and do some mods very easily.
If I could magically make the soundstage wider and put more sub-bass, these would be flawless (in my opinion)
here are the headphones that I compared to the jubilee's: Sony mdr-1am2 , Sony mdr-1a, Fostex TR-X00 Mahogany, Takstar pro 82, Audio-Technica-m50x and Sennheiser hd 650
-> as an overall headphone the jubilees are a clear winner
I have them for a short time but I hope they will keep serving me without problems
Hi, are you saying subbass on jubileesis too low? How its bass compare against mdr-1am2? I want meaty low end, can it be achieved with Eq?
the subbass is alright on the jubilees but I think you would prefer the mdr-1am2, the bass is heavier and the subbass is clearly better.
Sonys also have wider soundstage and they are more comfortable.
I played with Eq a bit but I couldnt get a lot of subbass out of the jubilees.
If you want a better all arounder go for jubilees because the vocals sound better(more immersive) and you can have a good listening experience on basically every genre.
