Has anyone here had to deal with Sennheiser for any warranty stuff before? Somewhere in this discussion forum is my original contact with them about receiving a faulty cable for these headphones. It has now been a month and I have yet to get a replacement. Are they normally that slow? I was first told it would be mailed out 9/24 then after providing my shipping info to them on 9/21 I get a response on 9/24 saying it will ship no later than 9/28. I received no follow up email so sent another on 10/9 just to ask if it shipped yet only to get a response on 10/10 saying they still don't have any in stock despite never telling me it was out of stock. They appear to have had plenty to keep supplying massdrop in that time but it is now 10/22 and still no word on when or if I will ever get a working cable. I guess I am asking if this is normal practice for Sennheiser or is this due to me purchasing this from massdrop and their no return policy allowing Sennheiser to put defective products purchased from here on the back burner? Given how quick the initial response was I fully expected to have had my review of the 6XX up praising their customer service but find myself holding out on a review waiting to see how this turns out.
I have dealt with Sennheiser warranty items before. They are most defiantly that slow.
I waited a week, but had to call and bitch for them to push things forward. Make sure you ask for a tracking number too, because if you don't ask they won't provide one with warranty stuff.
Thanks for that info. Didn't think to look for a number and call. I'll have to give that a try.
