The HD58X is an amazing pair of headphones for the price. They are made in Ireland and the quality is top notch. They have a comfortable clamping force. The cable is thick, removable, and the perfect length for me. It comes with a ¼ inch adapter. I am currently driving them with the Micca OriGen G2. The quickest way to describe these headphones is that they are very analytical and have good bass. Vocals are very clear and sound isolation / separation is superb. With good isolation also comes a great soundstage. You can pin point exactly where all the sounds are coming from. Sounds that linger and fade, the 58X does them justice. This is a steal at $150. If you are new to the audiophile community, plug these into your cell phone and they still sound amazing. These headphones have revitalized my love of hifi. You will understand the hard work and intricacies that goes into producing music after listening to your favorite song through the HD58X.
