The first impression is that there is too much plastic around those earphones, for that price.
The first connection with a Pioneer XDP-300 was disappointing, no sound stage, less power than with the B&O P7 I used up to then. I left them and took them on a small trip where I only took my iPad, and I was shocked to hear them sing and dance on the iPad! Completely different beast, excellent sound, slightly less coloured bass, but still very present, with very defined mids and highs. Put them back on the Pioneer, and they are burning in and are getting there. But I really miss a pouch or something else than the plastic that was in the box to carry them with me.
