The HD58x sound great. Perfect indoors headphones, the sound leak is noticeable only with higher levels of volume so they can be a good set for the office as well. the comfort initially is really bad, especially if you have a bogger head. After a week of stretching it gets better but still not as comfortable as other models with plastic headbands. the earcups are something you’d want to change, stock ones are decent but not that plush as on the 579s or 650s overall 9/10

Metal is a plus IMO for durability, if it is still too tight extend the earcups fully. You can lightly bend the metal to ease some of the tension so it doesn't feel like it's going to pop your melon. Sorry if it's obvious, but DO NOT put pressure on the plastic portion of the headband.

Hi ChrisE, I agree about the durability. The build quality is impressive for the money, the band as I said streched already so it is perfectly fine now, but as the review is for people that have not yet bought a pair, they should know how it is in the beginning.
