Okay, this is the second time I am writing this f*cking review due to a certain misclick that may have refreshed the page. However, for the sake of myself and this goddamn headphone I bought I will write this stale passage.
Now, as none of you may know I am an absolute peasant in terms of audio gear. The only reason I am even here is because of that goddamn salesman (Zeos) who led me to this website . One that makes my wallet shiver (sorry).
Well, I've had this headphone for a while now, haven't burnt it in because bullshit isn't to my taste. BUT for what I am currently using and hearing it is by far a very... sensual experience. Never knew you could goosebumb to a song before, but well there we are.
Of course I ain't using that dirty filth known as onboard audio, no! I forked out 300 pounds and bought some chinese box known as the fabled Audio-gd r2r 11! It has a large, nice, knob that I can squeeze and play with, so of course it was worth it (1/4 inch jack is also very nice as I can no longer snap and bend those tiny f*cking things anymore).
Ok, sound. For contextual reasons I have to first say that the only thing I'm comparing this with is a Sennheiser Urbanite (I bought the urbanites when I didn't even know a company called 'Sennheiser' existed). So, with that said I of course like this headphone better.
However, my head seems to be massive, as when I put it on for the first time hells grip went loose and crushed my skull. Nonetheless with a few forceful adjustments I was able to not make my head bleed. You should be fine if you aren't of my head size (massive), so just wait it out for a few days and it'll naturally shape to your head and become comfortable, as they say.
Now that I realise I haven't actually described the sound, I'll try again. It is detailed, so much so that I audibly gasped (voices were licking me, especially those rough manly voices guhh). It isn't bassy, so if you like that sort of thing f*ck off. For those who don't, for me atleast, it is a nice amount compared to the other things I own.
I don't understand any other audiophile terminology so can't help you there if you want to know whether the mid's f*ck you or not, or whether the treble induces ear-bleeding (they didn't, as my ears aren't bleeding). However, they sound good. Good enough for me to be happy with it and this cool metal box I can fondle to appease my guilt for my cringing wallet.
For a 150 dollars (I live in UK so charges fuck me but ehhh), it is a good sell according to my ignorance. If you have 200 maybe buy the 6xx, maybe not. I have no goddamn clue, go read more of these usless reviews and make your own decision.
