Have been saving up for months for a good pair of headphones and I am very happy with what I have bought. Have a few (stupid) questions though: is there a bluetooth adapter for these headphones and can I buy a cable with a type c port instead of the 3.5 mm jack so that I won't have to use the dongle?
bansalabhi96I don't think either of those exist. A Google search might help you but the only Bluetooth adapter I know of only works with headphones that have a single 3.5mm female-end on the headphone (i.e Philips SHP9500, the wired version of the Audio Technica M50). It would be hard to find one for the HD58X since it has 2 inputs for the headphones, it uses the 2-prong system, and the impedance is so high

bansalabhi96You should check out the Radsone EarStudio ES100. https://www.amazon.com/EarStudio-ES100-24bit-High-Resolution-Bluetooth-Unbalanced/dp/B078H4YD2L/ I am using it, and it works fine for me.

yaronsoloHi - Not sure if you’re around, but what cable is that? I’ve got an ES100 also and wondering if I should be pony’ing up for the $45 cable here on Drop or going to a 3rd party. With the ES100/wireless usage being ideal for me, like you it looks like, I don’t want a silly long cable going to the 2.5mm balanced connection as I’d ideally like to attach it all to the headphones like you’ve done there also. Thank you!

turbineseaplaneI used a cable I purchased on Aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32882431897.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.45e74c4dOeQMY0 It is 120cm long. Of course it is too long, but that was all I could find then. The cable works well for me, but I can't even guarantee that it is really a balanced cable. I really enjoy listening to music in the configuration in the picture, but this is a subjective impression of someone who is not a music expert.
