Hi guys, I'd like to know if I could use these to mix guitar recordings ranging from heavy metal arrangements to acoustic performances? I've seen this mentioned in a studio recording but al curious. I'm looking to spend below 200 and these look promising. Any options would be great. ❤️

iAmRoyHi, i have these headphones and they are a bit bass boosted. I heard that the HD600 is more balanced but i dont know for sure. This headphone sounds great but i am not sure if you want the slight bass boost when mixing

yuanvanscheijndelI’m going to use them for mixing and actually welcome the slight bass boost I’ve seen reviewers talk about. I saw a comparison of some frequency responce graphs. Granted they weren’t made on properly calibrated gear, but showed the curves relatively between HD58x and HD600z. and it shows the HD58x was actually flatter in the bass and the HD600 rolled off making it less “flat”. I’m also goo mg to use Sonarworks which has a general calibration for them.
