Xbox One X players - this is for you! I've had these beauties for a couple of weeks now and they are superb! I took the plunge on these solely for the purpose of gaming on the Xbox One X console without being able to find much feedback at all on these for consoles and I'm not regretting it. They're light, comfortable and even though they're open back you can totally lose yourself in your experience for hours. The cups are large enough to fit even fit my elephant lugs comfortably which is awesome. The only concern I can give is that they're not as loud as my previous gaming headsets - the HyperX Cloud Revolver S and the Sennheiser GSP 300. This isn't a concern for me even with my slight industrial deafness, but it may be a deal breaker for others. They don't quite have the bass boom of the these two but in my opinion they sound cleaner and more natural, or just better. As they should! I'm thinking of looking at a cheap compatible dac/amp to see if that would make a difference. I've been playing a lot of PUBG (badly, really badly) and the directionality (?) with Windows Sonic Sound selected is outstanding. I've fired up Skyrim a few times as well and wow! The immersion I missed the first time playing the game just through tv speakers is amazing. The only thing I can't comment on is the mic as I only play solo. Sorry :( I've just purchased a FiiO Q1 Mark 2 dac/amp and hooked these up to my iphone to listen to music and they sound fantastic also. Theses really are an excellent all-rounder for any audio I think. I'm also in Australia (Wagga Wagga to be exact) and it took exactly 2 weeks to arrive from shipping date with no import taxes or duties. Any questions please fire at me. Cheers!

WoosterHi Russ, I've just plugged the headset (green) plug straight into the controller as I haven't has the need for using the mic yet. You can get either a pcv 05 cable or a unp cable from the Sennheiser website or even maybe a Plantronics LX1 adapter and I think Turtle Beach have a couple of similar options too. I'd imagine any cheap generic 3.5mm dual to single plug adapter would work too. Hope this helps. Cheers, John

frazeliciousMan, I bought these based solely on the first few paragraphs of this review. So disappointed now that they're here to find out they do not support the mic. If I'd known that, I'd have just plugged my 6xx's up and called it a day. My mistake for not performing my due diligence

Illiquid_AssetI have a £10 (approx.) adapter (UK) which takes both plugs and converts to a single jack for the xbox controller - the cable is marked specifically with a headphone and mic symbol so you get them the correct way round. They must be doing something funky in the converter.
