This is a difficult question that only someone who has the headset can answer. With the PC 373D, you could download a software in which you could configure hearing your own voice, but I do not know if this said software is available for the PC37X.
Massdrop or partner(s), could you confirm if a software will be available for the PC37X, similar to the PC 373D?

I would assume, but the PC37X does not come with the USB soundcard of the PC 373D, so I'm not sure the software will be compatible with the PC37X.

The It will not the PC373d comes with usb dongle  where "all the magic happens" that is not included with the PC37x. The software is used to access this hardware since the PC37x doesn not come with the dongle the software is useless.  I do wonder if it is possible to acquire the dongle separately would it be possible to turn the headset into 373s

The headset does not playback the microphone feed live to your ear by itself. If you want that, you can turn on the "Mic Monitoring" feature on a sound card (not included).

I'm sure the dongle is an ok entry-level DSP/DAC/amp, personally I would MUCH rather save $130 compared to the PC373 and put the money towards a better DSP... several external products from Creative and Asus immediately come to mind, and Sennheiser has their own new external processor I haven't tried yet.
