Whoever got this can you report if there was any issues with the mic? I need a new headset but I've read on one of the gaming community forums that they got theirs and they had issue with the mic not working.
I have no issues with my mic. I bought mine on the last batch.
It worked fine for a few minutes. Then people in Discord were telling me they couldn't hear me at all. My Boompro with the same input and software settings has no issue. I'm attempting to return mine as defective.
I got mine in the last drop and the mic cuts in and out constantly.
It's a stereo mic plug... sounds like you are plugging into a mono mic jack and it's not making a good connection. What are you plugging it into?
I've tried both the front and rear 3.5mm mic inputs on my computer, both with the same result.
That, to me, says you have mono jacks
According to the motherboard vendor, MSI, they are stereo jacks but maybe they're wrong. Either way, would not recommend this drop to anyone else.
And what happens when you wiggle the plug?
I get kicked out of the library...oh wait, that's not what you meant. I can't wiggle it, its in there pretty tight. I'm going to give it to a friend of mine who also bought into the drop and isn't having the issue to see if it replicates on his computer.
Hey man what was the verdict? Were you able to fix the issue? Did it work on your friends PC?
My friend just kept it and uses it as headphones, mic doesn't work he just left it at that.
Did you fix yours @SwoleEE?
I recommended these headphones to my friend and he is having a mic issue where they keep cutting in and out...
A different set worked on his PC. I ended up getting a soundcard and it works fine. Idk what the issue was.
I just got mine, and the mic is defected. Super static. I have an old headset that I always use, and still works perfectly fine whenever I plug it in. I was looking forward to this headset since I purchased it, but when I got it the mic was totally out of control.
I'd have to agree. I just got these, plugged them in, and Discord was not hearing me talk. :-(
After reading the comments here, I thought that maybe the jack on the top was mono and hoped the rear jack was stereo. Plugged them into the back jacks and the mic works great. :-)
I was able to fix the static after changing the setting to 16 bits 24 seem to cause the static
