Can anything be done about the clamping force?
I wear glasses and these are squeezing my head hard enough that they're digging my glasses arms into my head, and it starts hurting pretty quickly.
If you wear glasses try AKG K612 Pro. I previously owned K612 and they were super comfortable even for long periods every day.
Unfortunately mine broke so I thought I'd try these PC37X but the clamping force is making me worry that they might not suite me.
I'll see how they go after a week or so.
Happy to report they've become more comfortable. Still a bit tight, but not hurting anymore.
Super happy with the sound though!
Update: A few months later... Very pleased with these. Clamping force no longer bothering me. Great headphones, would buy again

mejobloggsI have had these for a few months, I don't wear glasses, but found the clamping force uncomfortable as well, they have loosened up and become more comfortable with use. You could likely assist the break in by wrapping them around something a bit larger than your head, a sofa arm or a sports ball etc, when you aren't using them

dead_pixel_designI'm 3 days in, and they're feeling much better than the initial impression. Hopefully it becomes a non issue after a while

mejobloggsI had the same problem, what i ended up doing was having the arms of the glasses sit on top of the ear cups, if that makes sense, it means my glasses are slightly tilted forward, but it was better than feeling like the top of my ear was slowly being sliced off. since then these have fit great.
