LiamsturgeThey make new drops for these everyday, because they are selling very well!
I remember being in your situation, having a lot of time but not a lot of money. At double your age, I find that I now have enough money to occasionally get the stuff I want, but a lot less time to use them! I think you’ll really like these, they’re worth saving for: I’ve had them a year and a half (my review was featured in Massdrop’s description!), and though I have lots of headphones and better headphones, I use these the most because they sound very good (for pretty much all games and music genres) and work even on simple setups. My HD 800 sound better (amazing, actually), but I don’t always want to use my big desktop amp, and the PC37X gives me enough of a taste of that $1000 headphone. Lately, I’ve been addicted to playing PUBG Mobile with these on my iPad, using a cheap adapter to join the mic and audio plugs into one smartphone style plug (TRRS plug).
EvshrugThank you so much! I was really skeptic about buying these and your answered just convinced me. I am no audiophile but I do. Know a little bit about sennheiser and their headphones like hd800s and 6xxs so if these pc37xs are anything like hd800 then I’m sure they’ll be amazing. tha Maybe for the help!
LiamsturgeYou’re welcome!
To be clear, I said the HD 800 sound better, but the PC37X still get a lot of head-time.
The PC37X still have above average soundstage, though less than the HD 800 (which has some of the most soundstage I’ve heard yet in any headphone). The PC37X do have more bass than the HD 800, also thicker headband and earpad padding, and are lighter weight. Not as detailed as the HD 800, but that should be expected, and still sounds way better than a $400 pair of Beats Studio (which is wireless, has noise cancelling, closed back, essentially a different type of headphone but everyone is familiar with it).
