Something worth clarifying relating to adapters (2 plug to 1 plug):
Sennheiser has two adapters (check other online sellers for availability):
PCV-05: https://en-us.sennheiser.com/pcv-05
PCV-07 (Mac): https://en-us.sennheiser.com/pcv07
Either one of these should work for audio out (i.e. sound coming out of the headphones). Where you may have issues, however, is the microphone.
For most devices, the PCV-05 should work well. However, if you are planning to use this with a recent MacBook/iPhone, Apple apparently uses some non-standard microphone signalling method (see below link). For the microphone to work on these devices, you will need the PCV-07 adapter.
Contrary to the Amazon reviews, I don't think it's as simple as OMTP vs CTIA, since CTIA devices like the PS4 DualShock 4 controller and Xbox One controller work fine with the PCV-05 adapter. There's a more technical overview here:

I purchased the PCV-07 to use with my 2016 MacBook Pro, and the mic on my PC37X is working fantastically. Of course, there's many alternative adapters on Amazon and whatnot - just be aware of the potential differences, and read through the adapter reviews for anecdotal evidence.
Thanks again for the great drop! Definitely the best gaming headset that I've ever owned.
jowosephYeah the mic doesn't work on my macbook pro using a logitech usb adapter that does work fine with the logitech g430s mic. If I blow into it directly there is some sound but it wont pick up voice at all. Not sure if the sabrent adapter will work but Ill give it a try for 7.00.
The problem is that the pcv07 is 100% unavailable anywhere on the internet. I read other reviews of other cables that say they work with macbook but others say they do not. So bleh.
Might end up just buying a usb sound card. Gotta love mac's sometimes.
Zeeke069I got my PCV-07 off Amazon last Friday - strange, they seem to be out of stock now. Surprised at how difficult it is to find now. Hopefully they can increase availability soon.
jowosephIf anyone is having issues with using the PC37x with a Mac Mini, have worked out the issue. The Mac Mini has a higher power line in, the headset does not work in this jack.
Was able to work it out by use of a USB audio card. Tried one and it almost worked. On second try, just got Creative Lab's SoundBlaster Play!3 and it works great. Formal model number: SB1730.
Got mine from Amazon for about $25, works much better than the $12 first try - pay once, cry once.
