Hey everyone, Just wanted to chime in regarding shipping delays. With COVID hitting the NY/NJ area as hard as it has, it has been impossible to keep full staffing levels at our warehouse (we're down from 2 shifts to 1, and even the 1 shift is running short-handed to maintain social distancing policies). We're running weekend shifts to help get caught up, and day to day the levels of staffing adjusts depending on order flow from other warehouse clients. Suffice to say, we're working our hardest to get orders out as quickly as we can but you should expect some delays. (Even Amazon prime is regularly taking 4+ days to ship, and they're 100x more resourced than we are). A week ago we added a note to the description mentioning the delay, but some people may have missed it. If you're unable/unwilling to wait for your shipment, please contact Customer Support and they'll cancel your order for you. "This item is in stock. It usually ships within 1 business day—however, due to the impact of COVID-19, order shipments may be temporarily delayed. Your payment method will be charged after checkout. Cancellations are accepted up to 2 hours after checkout." May 5th update: A shipment from Sennheiser was supposed to arrive on May 4th, with fulfillment prioritized for PC37x orders. That shipment has not yet arrived and we're following up with Sennheiser (they're usually very prompt, we just got more HD6XX and HD58X from them last week). If your order hasn't shipped yet, it's pending until our restock arrives, and then they'll all be prioritized. I'll update this thread once we hear back from Senn.

May 5th update #2: There was a snafu with the latest shipment (mentioned above), and the shipment just went out today. It's scheduled to arrive on Friday. Depending on what time on Friday they arrive, we'll be trying to get as many shipped out on Friday and over the weekend. We'll be prioritizing shipments of PC37x to "catch up" since there's a fair number of units that have missed their ship date. Sorry for the delay, we're doing our best! Funny tracking link here.

May 8th update: Hasn't arrived yet, tracking shows it is scheduled to come by 9PM tonight (the warehouse closes at 8PM though..) Realistically we'll probably be shipping these out on Monday morning at the earliest. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

May 11th Update: Delivery didn't end up happening on Friday (and they don't do freight deliveries on the weekends). We're trying to get this scheduled to be dropped off for us today, fingers crossed.

May 11th Update 2: The delivery has been booked/scheduled with UPS for 8AM EST on Tuesday May 12th. We'll be working to get then unpacked and boxed up and shipped out throughout the day tomorrow. Given the number of orders we have backlogged, it's likely that not all of them will ship tomorrow, with some spill over into the next day (and hopefully that's it). Will give you another update tomorrow morning as things move through the system.

May 12th Update: Missed an update this morning so here's my nightly check-in. Everything has been received, unloaded and shelved and is ready to be packed, boxed, and shipped. They got a handful (I'm kinda disappointed) of units shipped out today, but the big push starts tomorrow at 7am EST. Assuming decent staffing levels they should get through many hundreds of orders (there's about 900 people currently waiting). I'll update again tomorrow as we see progress.

May 13th Update: Over 1000 packages shipped out today, we're now officially 100% caught up on PC37X orders. Any orders placed on/before May 12th have now shipped. A huge thank you to the support from all of our loyal and patient customers. Hope you love your new headsets. May 16th update. We’re all caught up so all orders are currently shipping on the next business day. May 19th update: We're sold out, again! Please notice that the buy button now says "Pre-Order", and the ship date is based on when we expect our next restock from Sennheiser to arrive, which is on/around June 15th.

June 3rd update: Sennheiser just notified us that our shipment that was previously expected to arrive on June 13-15th, is now pushed back to June 23-25th. We're in continual communication with them and these dates do shift around as production and transportation assets shift back and forth.

June 19th update: Vrooom Vrooom... BEEP BEEP BEEP... the truck arrived and unloaded 20 pallets of Sennheiser PC37x Gaming Headsets an hour ago. We've got to get everything unloaded and unpacked, so the headsets will start shipping either over the weekend or on Monday at the latest!!!

June 19th update #2: funny thing I just read in our updates channel that I wanted to share: "Update on PC37X, vendor did not follow our standards and shipped on pallets that were too high to make it through the door. Because of this we needed extra man power to receive. It will be fully received tomorrow and will ship out over the weekend." June 22nd Update: Everything is in the warehouse and good to go. All the pre-orders are in the process of being packed and shipped, and new orders will ship (nearly) immediately.

Kevinso you telling me 4 x 100 is 400 days so it will take 400 days to ship? I honestly just need mine so i can talk to my peers in the zoom call
RPGterderNo, I'm not saying that at all. We're currently running (on average) 4 days behind. So your order should ship around 3-5 days after placing the order. Note those are averages, I can't stress enough how things are constantly changing daily/weekly.

KevinI submitted a request to refund because I was unaware of the shipping delays which I would not mind if I was not leaving my household soon and need them by a certain time. Is it possible to get them refunded as they have not shipped? I only found out about the shipping delays well over 2 hours after purchase.

KevinGood afternoon, I hadn't read this post prior to making my purchase. If we paid for expedited shipping is this amount going to be refunded? Not upset given the circumstances but I wouldn't have opted for the additional cost if it wasn't an option.

NosferatiWe still offer expedited shipping options because that's the courier shipping portion of the order. So after we ship it, (if you don't pay for expedited), it'll take anywhere from 4-7 days to get to your door via Fedex/USPS. If you pay for the expedited options, they'll get it to you more quickly. The surcharge is still saving you the same amount of time. In any case, you can refund your entire order and re-order if you want to change shipping service. (Customer Support may be able to switch it for you, I'm not sure off the top of my head).

hristo.ivanovYeah, you can get a refund up until when they ship (perhaps the night before), but it's way longer than the usual 2 hour window right now due to the delays.

Mochi_OWYour overnight shipping will still apply, that's a surcharge on the outbound (that we directly pay to Fedex). It means once fedex gets your package they'll fly it to you in a day or two, instead of the standard fedex service that takes many more days by truck.

unhappyCustomer4656A ~5 business day delay is currently being quoted as a shipping estimate, sitewide on all of our products (some cases longer). The shipment from Sennheiser was supposed to arrive last Monday, May 4th, at which time we'd have been fulfilling many orders within that 5 day period. Unfortunately, as noted in my update, the order didn't show up and contacting Sennheiser revealed that their shipment didn't go out the week prior as planned. This has added an additional ~1 week delay in the process. As you can see from my updates, we've been working hard to get these into the warehouse and shipped back out, but things are complicated and messy. This pandemic-stricken world has a ton of uncertainty and we appreciate your understanding and patience as we work through the problems that confront us.

Anthony.vGenerally speaking yes.. We'll FIFO(ish) the orders. Keep in mind what usually happens is that Worker A gets a stack of 20 orders, then worker B takes the next stack of 20.. and so on so forth. There's weird obscure situations where worker A only gets 18/20 orders done and 2 orders get left over until tomorrow. We're asking people to be careful and we're getting it mostly right, but small things fall between the cracks. We are very thankful to our warehouse staff for everything that they do and they are given a lot of leeway in how/when/at what pace they work to ensure their safety and well being at all times. Our staffing levels are down to 30% on some days because they're explicitly told there's no penalties to not showing up to work (unlike other companies who penalize those who don't show up).

KevinAgain, thank you for all the updates. If it wasn't for the updates I probably would have canceled my order. I do understand the situation and I believe you're handling everything very well. Communication is key during this time and you're nailing it. I work at an essential business and completely understand the short staffing. I see it first hand as 30-40% of staffing calls in and we're suppose to get everything done but can't and it rolls over to the next shift.

KevinThis is kinda crazy. I don't know what is going on with this order. I got shipping notice on 5/6. It was just "label created" at that point. FedEx shows they had it on 5/8 and an expected delivery of 5/14. But when I look at the tracking details, it was in was in Michigan and heading north to where I live on 5/12. But today, 5/13, FedEx has it arriving in Ohio for a second time. which is not where I live. The first time it hit Ohio was 5/10. This is even more weird because, based on this update, it was either shipped 5/12 or 5/13. No idea what is going on.

This is my first time buying something from Drop and I'll probably do so again in the near future. The headset will help my kids with Google Hangouts for school and of course help me game lol

I appreciate the bad hand you've been dealt, but a package being stuck in transit for over two months without even an automated message, or update is just bad business. I was a new customer, but now I'm seriously regretting my choice. Please get this puppy back in gear, so I can get my mits on the drop.
