c_r_zSeriously on the fence for half of these... I'd expect more sets running simultaneously at the same time, but I wish GMK prices dropped as their sales grow lol
sevenseacatYes, very true. GMK kits are really over saturated at the moment. And secondly I feel people have really lost their creatively with kits. Just slap any'ol colorway on a GMK kit and call it day.
Again just my opinion, I know people will disagree and that's fine.
steveowashereGMK Eclipse has been in development for years just FYI

steveowashereOn the contrary, GMK prices have been decreasing quite a bit. It wasn't long ago that GMK sets would cost you $180-$200. While some of them still do, there are a lot more that are coming out in the $110-$120 range, either due to inventory from vendors like Massdrop, or trimmed down kits like this one, Jamon, or Wavez, meaning people who don't use full sized keyboards no longer need to buy a bunch of caps they don't need.
And I whole heartedly disagree with the "slap on any colorway and call it a day" sentiment. A lot of these colors are very hard to color match for the prices that inexpensive keysets sell at. There are always imitations, but they are almost always washed out in color. I don't seem to recall any other manufacturer of keycaps that have the sheer amount of variety when it comes to colorway designs as GMK makers do.

I strongly agree. Part of the appeal of a kit for me are creative novelties, icon mods or legends. I think Mito is ahead of the game with things like Rams and Micons. DSA Scientific is a very slick and creative theme as well. Every now and then I see something truly original and creative, but just another colorway on GMK doesn't do it for me.
