The Elusive THX789. The Hornicorn. Mysterious it is...shipping soon...JUST KIDDING!
Drop has dropped the ball. How hard is it to find some factory to crank out 13,000 of these?
I love how they raise the price of this before people can even commit to one at the original price.
Many items here can be had for the same price or cheaper elsewhere - especially watches. I’m here for the MassDrop exclusives - but the hassle of waiting for items to “drop” is a novelty I don’t care for. I’m about done with Drop.
I picked up a Monoprice THX788 and a Schiit Asgard 2 and that’s all the amplification I need. I think I’ll pass permanently on this elusive Hornicorn.

DiMoraI might follow your steps. Or get some placeholder item and sell it later and get this one once it's out. Dunno.
But I agree, the wait times are frustrating.

DiMoraI got the Monoprice THX788 and I’m super happy with them. All the power and clean sound. I’d love to be able to compare them to the 789s!

DiMoraAfter I missed the last couple of drops, I got the 788 and fell in love with it. It surpassed expectations and I haven't looked back! Totally agree on waiting for drops and ships. Trying to get this thing was a nightmare. I'll continue to grab a few headphones here and there from Drop. But I will hard pass on the 789.
