Weird but charming layout
Picked up on sale, and for the sale price this isn't bad to try classic HKKB layout.
Did the tape mod and it helped out the sound quite a bit.
Disappointed I got the blue version although I ordered the green, Drop exchanged it but the replacement was also blue. Drop made it right with a discount, and Blue wasn't my first choice, I like the layout overall

Great hardware / unfound firmware
I like the hardware! Installed my favorite switches. The lack of LEDs helps limit current requirements. I want this for my KVM switch that hates my other keyboards. The KVM likes this keyboard.
I hate the lack of support. Not able to find a VIM or QMK tool that talks to it. This small number of keys REQUIRES being able to program the keyboard to personal needs (think programmer and emacs). Just a few webpage links would clear this hate. No idea what a version 4 PCB will do with version 1 firmware either.

Well put together kit!
First kit that I’ve had to install the PCB in the base and assemble the stabs. Very fun to put together, still need to install VIA and flash the board and learn all about that. I got the diffuser and cap set, both were great. I think for my use 65% is kind of the sweet spot but this board is like art.

Pretty good
Has been pretty good to say the least. It did take a while for me to get used to the crtl being in a different place but after i got over that it was just natural and I just love how heavy the kit is.

No foam included
I had high hopes for this kit, but you need to make many mods to make it thocky. There was no foam included in this kit, I had to customize another foam I had. Also, I received the wrong color base, submitted a return and exchange for the right color, and it still was not the right color.

My first HHKB keyboard
This was a very easy build. Takes some getting used to. I wish the Tokyo60 keycaps I bought with this keyboard. had the front legends for the keys with FN functions like the HHKB branded keyboards have, but hey if you guys offered HHKB keycaps with the Front legends, I'd definitely pick up a set. I put some Gazeew U4T switches in this board and they sound pretty good with the aluminum plates.

Good keyboard, but for $160 it should come with case foam, keycaps, switches, etc.
Echoed like crazy until I filled it with foam. USB-C connection is soldered onto the board rather than a daughter board so, if you break the USB port, the PCB is done for. Good entry level keyboard, but over priced compared to alternatives.

Stopped Working after 1 Month
Bought the keyboard back in 2022. Didn’t build it until now (Jan 2025) with multiple project keyboards throughout the years. After daily use of the Tokyo60 for a month, it bricked out. Pretty upset. The simple design and quality of the case is keeping this from a 1 star. PCB is no bueno.

Solid Feeling
This was my first aluminum case keyboard and I was pleasantly surprised by the weight and feel of it. Compared to other plastic cases that I've owned previously it feels a lot more premium. However in the current market there are many other options at better price points so unless you specifically want an HHKB layout there are better options.
