Hey everyone, dropping a note here while @tokyocoffeenerd is still sleeping in Japan. I'm excited to get this keyboard going again - this time with USB C! There are two new colors been offered this round and the season 3 keycaps look pretty awesome as well. Like last time, the addition of the acrylic diffuser means this PCB can be used in all its glory - the number of light modes by default is actually pretty significant so I hope everyone will get to enjoy it. For those that have already received prior kits - @tokyocoffeenerd had put together an installation guide.

Hey man since you were ignored like me about getting a replacement PCB, I just wanted to let you know you can buy the Instant60 from Cannonkeys (Tsangan edition) - it has VIA support and also fits in the Tokyo60 (V2 at least). It has a USB-C port and superior LEDs to the stock PCB. My only tip is don't over-tighten the screws when you install it as it will bow and can cause the board to glitch out.

Here is a shareable link to the .json for the Tokyo60 layout. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FcCwz8KJoDoUJlbF4_wFTYBx9K4Wo1Ak/view?usp=sharing

You can inspect the layout by loading it into Keyboard-Layout-Editor. Copy and paste the .json into the "</> Raw data" tab on KLE and click on the green "Upload JSON" button in the lower right corner. Select the "Properties" tab and click on any of the keys to unit sizes. Citation: https://drop.com/talk/947/physical-keyboard-layouts-explained-in-detail

Omg...@YanboWu...Why I did not receive any notification for v3...So sad. I just found v3 was on sale today. And, it is out of stock again.. I wish I could buy it as this year's birthday present... I screwed up. Is there any way to purchase it?

No problem! Your best bet now is to wait until November when these get shipped out and check r/mechmarket to see if anyone is selling theirs

Anyone know the thickness of the plate in this? Is it the standard 1.5mm?

This is tempting, mainly for the case, the HHKB layout, complete programmability, and the convenience of solderless installation and swapping of switches. However, for me, it just isn't worth it because of the switches. Cherry mx and its various clones are still my least favorite type of keyboard switches. Because my favorite switches are Topre, capacitive buckling spring, and SKCM white or blue Alps, I would prefer to go with a HHKB Pro 2, F62, or Alps64 kit.

It would be nice if there was an option to buy only the PCB for those of us who have joined in v1/v2 and have a broken PCB.
