is it difficult to program via qmk? I've been using ready made keyboards only, and it seems little hard to program a keyboard.

souschefhttp://qmk.fm/toolbox/ is the official UI. You'll probably also have to install whichever command line tool the board uses, hopefully dfu-programmer. If you're on windows you'll need to install the zadig driver. It should work out of the box on Linux and OSX.
