I have a v3 and like many people, I can't get the board into DFU. I suspect this is because the default keymap doesn't have the `pause` key set in any layer. For me, `fn` + `p` results in increasing brightness on my macbook.

jotaro_kujoTry lshift + rshift + b. That's what my board is. Worst case, remove the bottom of the case and press the button on the underside of the board. Also, if QMK tool box still doesn't detect the bootloader mode but your PC does, you'll need to install the libusb-win32 driver. Zadig is the best way to get it AFAIK.

mokgremThis worked! Thank you, @EVo , @mokgrem don't know why I waited so long to give it a go. The changes I made if anyone is curious: added macos `prev track`, `play/pause`, `next track` to `z`, `x`, and `c`. I also made holding space activate layer 1. Considering changing the arrow keys to be more vim-like, open to other suggestions!
