This is my first mechanical keyboard and I really love the way it feels. I did not, however, love the way that the colour of the case turned out, so I took it all apart and spray painted it with Premier Atlantis-Satin Paint and Primer. If you live in Canada you can get it at Canadian Tire. I'm not sure where else it might be available.

I didn't do the best job of taping off the built in feet but I cared less because it was on the bottom. I could have been more careful with a couple of runs but overall I am much more happy with how much closer I got to the the colour of the modifier keys. I also found that there was a metallic ringing sound that was apparent when I was typing in a quiet room so I added some rubberized shelf liner to the bottom part of the case and did cutouts in the rubber for screw attachment points. This dealt with the ringing sound very nicely and gave the board a more solid, less hollow feel when I am typing. I forgot to take a picture of it in place but here is what I used.

The space bar was also quite rattly and so I did this https://youtu.be/Q7gRnpe7oyw to the stabilizers as well as to all of the other stabilizers. That really helped. I am really happy with how things have turned out and I am loving my first jump into the mechanical keyboard pool.

rberg6868I really love the initiative you took with it! Honestly, Just lubing and clipping the stabilizers seemed to fix all the issues I had, however since the stabilizers are plate mounted I don't think that clipping is totally necessary. This totally removed that obnoxious pinging. I did change out the switches for box jades, but I like click. The result is by far the best sounding and feeling board I have ever typed on. The SA caps lend themselves to great sound. With the exceptions of the stabs and the poorly placed from bottom case screws, the whole thing is very high quality and very original
