Hey all. Love my keyboard but when I plugged it in, nothing happened. Opened it up to find this:

Note that there is no wired connection between the usb ports on the case and the usb ports on the PCB. I guess there could be some sort of wireless connection, but that doesn't seem likely. Has anyone broke their chassis open and seen if there is a wired connection and, if so, how it's connected. If i plug a usb cable into the PCB usb ports, the board works - but I want to plug into the case usb ports. If possible, I'd like to fix it rather than return it, so any assistance would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

trailerheavenSorry about that, and about the options you were offered. The CS agent you dealt with should have escalated your ticket. Your keyboard is missing the ribbon cables that connect the PCB to the breakout boards. I'll get you sorted. Our CS will reach out to confirm your shipping address, and I'll ship you two ribbon cables. To install the ribbon cables, simply align the connectors and push down. They should snap into place.

Thank you so much! I was worried it might take soldering or something. But I can handle a connector that clicks in! I've been trying to rig it, but really all that happens is i don't get to use this awesome board!

trailerheavenOMFG that happened to me too last time around! Except for me it was just the right one, and I found the thing just rattling around loose in the case lol

Hi, I hate to bump an old thread but I just had a Rocketeer arrive with the same problem and I'm wondering if there's anyway to get the cables I need, and customer service apparently doesn't know what to do? If not, is there any recommendation anyone can make for a way to repair the keyboard as I'd really rather have it than return it.

mechanicalxmuseI had pulled those from spares I had in the office and I can no longer help in that regard. Please request a replacement (assuming there is available inventory) and link them to this thread if necessary.
