Do not, I repeat, do not purchase these earbuds! Reasons why:
  • The super cool hi gloss metal case becomes super scratched up like literally two days after you start using them.
  • There is no app. So, no adjustments, no EQ, no nothin!
  • The on board microphone for calls is about as good as the crappiest microphone you used to be able to purchase at radio shack.
  • There is no on/off button, which if you receive a phone call, the only way to take the call using your phone to talk on is to as fast as possible get the earbuds out of your ears and into the case and shut it, Otherwise the earbuds will bounce back from your phone to them constantly during your call unless you turn off Bluetooth which no one should have to do.
  • Bluetooth is not reliable. I s say this again. The Bluetooth is not reliable.
Now, do they sound good? Yes they do! They sound better than AirPods and the Galaxies by a solid chunk. They sound better than the Jabbras and the Jaybirds by less of a chunk but still better. In my humble and confident opinion after having purchased and trying pretty much all of the current true wireless earbuds on the market, (Which took a super long time to do) the best sounding earbuds that actually sound a big bit better than the Master & Dynamic’s are the Sennheisr Momentum’s! Why:
  • They sound super great! Better than any of the current true wireless earbuds on the market. (Haven’t tried the newest Sony’s yet)
  • They have an app. It has two things. An EQ adjustment, and hear through on off.
  • They seal great in your ears.
  • The Bluetooth connectivity is super solid. I guess there was a time when it wasn’t but there was a firmware update and now they connect before you even get the first bud in your ear.
  • The phone mic is totally doable and everyone can understand you without sounding like you’re in an underground bunker.
  • The controls on the earbuds are totally functional and easy to use. including volume up/down on the earbuds.
  • It has the most natural sounding “hear through” out of any of the other earbuds that currently have it. Very pleased about this. No tinty white noise trashy hear through sound.
A couple things that could be better but aren’t at all a problem:
  • A bit longer battery life would be nice but it’s never been an issue at all for me.
  • A ”graphic” EQ would be nice but the truth is, even with the EQ the app currently has, because the Momentum’s sound great already, I haven’t had to use the EQ in the app at all.
  • The case is a cool tweed like material which can get dirty. So when I purchased them, I taped the back of the case and then sprayed the case with a boot waterproof spray a couple of times. If it gets something on it now, I can easily just damp wipe it right off!
Finally- Sound is really important to me, so is functionality. Adjusting the EQ on the the cheaper earbuds never really helped because the components of the earbuds could never really handle any meaningful EQ adjustments. So after much testing and lots of listening, I say currently right now, the Sennheiser Momentum’s are the solid choice. Word 👍🏼

MDL5Hmm interesting. I was gonna go with the Momentums but the 3 hour battery life really turned me off. Also the fact almost everybody complains about the case draining battery. I just got the new Sony's and while they sound extremely high quality as though Im listening to speakers as they are so light and comfy I forget they are in my ears. BUT, I do not have much to compare them to as they are my first bluetooth buds. Well I did try the AirPods and compared to those the Sony's seem to lack bass and overall volume. I really dont know how long I can live with the lack of bass and volume. Anyways, I'd love to know how the Sen's compare to these Sony's. How is the bass and overall volume?? As good as these Sony's sound(also really like their convenient control features) I'm not sure they are completely hitting the spot for me and for that price I need them to be.

VMILLYo, though I haven’t tried the new Sony’s, I have tried everything else and I have watched several YouTube videos of people comparing the Momentum’s and the Sony’s and knowing what I know having the momentum’s, here’s my take. The Sony’s are going to have solid clarity and solid stereo spatiality, the low end is going to be tight but not very huge, clean but not super warm and the Momentum’s have a warmer and bit larger low end. The one thing about earbuds like the AirPods is that the upper mids and high end lack spatial clarity and any real instrument separation etc. The Sony’s have great spatial clarity and so do the Momentum’s but I would again estimate that the Sony’s (via the Sony signature sound) are a little less in the low end and a little cooler of a sound. Not to say that they’re bad by any means. They’re great! I have to say that I haven’t been impacted at all by the battery life. With the firmware update, it may have been improved but regardless, I haven’t been running out of power all the time or anything like that. The case charges the buds just like any other case does from my experience. If it did something like the drain down super fast etc, It would have surely happened to my by now and a lot of the youtubers who reviewed the momentum’s were doing so under the earlier firmware. What else.. The volume is not lacking. I’ve got healthy solid enough volume with a tiny bit extra so I’ll take it. Yes the price is hotter than the Sony’s but based on what I just said here, and what you said above, I think you might really like the Momentum’s and I would at least just take the Sony’s back, and try the Momentum’s or if you can, purchase the momentum’s and try them against each other and then take back the ones who lose that battle! Ha! BTW- of important note! The deeper an earbud can fit into your ear canal the better the low end will be! Also, the fuller louder the sound will be while set at a lower volume. The seal is also very important to giving you getter everything, isolation, volume, clarity, stereo image, bla bla! Let me know how it works out! 😊👍🏼

MDL5If you're into checking everything out, try the Lypertek Tevi's. I heard online that they sound just like the MW07, but at a cheaper price (around $100 USD).
