As if this answers any questions that haven't been answered a ba-zillion times already?
I'm sticking with ThinkTank.
down padding for camera gear. This is just silly.
Suppose if you are going out in the snow to shoot with your camera? But then down only reflects heat that is generated. Its not endothermic in itself. So what use would this be unless you left your camera turned on?
I use plain old beer koozies for my Canon EF lenses. The fit most of the non L series well. And some of the smaller L.
I have some other foam padded nylon ones I picked up at B&H superstore in Manhattan a few years back. $10 for the small one. $20 for one large enough to fit a 100mm L or 24-105 L.
So I'm disappointed, but that's my fault. The sizing guide indicates that a 5D with a 24-105 lens fits, and I read that as '28-70'. And it is possible to shove the camera in and get a single twist of the roll-down clasp. But it is stretched tight and the sides bulge open, making it kinda pointless.
So, too small for my favorite lens. Fine for smaller ones. Otherwise, it almost makes me want a puffy quilted jacket and puffy quilted snow pants and a puffy quilted cap, because that would be ridiculous.

I received mine about a week ago and just used it yesterday. I like it a lot!
It's for light to medium duty, more suited to jaunting around town rather than for tough conditions. But it does offer protection against bumps and scuffs.
It looks very cool and well made. Like a little quilt on your camera.
I don't know how long it will last. The fabric is like the thin fabric you might find on a down jacket. But it should hold up with some care and not too rough use. But if you scrape it against a rough stone or brick wall, it may well tear.
It's more like a cool hipster fashion accessory that happens to be a camera case. Protective enough if you are not to rough or abusive with your camera.
