Little known fact. Ducks and geese have down to protect their undersides from rough landings. It's an evolutionary thing. Before they started growing down their stomachs were all scarred and bruised like a kids' knees learning to ride bikes and such. Before 1910 down was actually called Boo Boo Feathers. It is known.

Bulk order shipped! The vendor informed us that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey. Based on the tracking provided, the order is scheduled to arrive on 10/28.

Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Matador Base Layer Adaptive Lens Protection and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 10/31.

This may look appealing but not sure why this isn't in something say...WATERPROOF?!?! I mean yeah this is great if you want your camera lens to be warm...because well that is the one thing people are worried about outdoors with rain, mud, and dust. Seriously this maybe the dumbest product I have seen on massdrop ever.

Thanks for the heads up on those, I did buy two more of these, but I also picked up a few of these http://www.tamrac.com/collections/accessories/products/goblin-lens-pouch-0-7 for some smaller lenses, and I imagine the Goblin + Dry bag would be about ultimate.
