Serendipity. The Massdrop drop for this pan failed. (I subscribed to the drop.) BUT! I found a FANTASTIC deal elsewhere 2 days later! A closeout from a dealer $30 cheaper than Massdrop - and the Massdrop price was already excellent ... the best I’ve seen to-date before my recent find, in fact.
The pan? Those of you who passed on this deal missed a terrific opportunity. The pan (again, the Extra Heavy Large version, not the smaller one which is no great shakes) is incredible. Matfer Bourgeat, by the way, is used in 80% of the restaurants in France. Really Good Quality.
Where are the buyers???!!! Matfer Bourgeat is considered THE best copper cookware, aside from boutique brands like House Copper, Duparquet, or Brooklyn Copper Cookware (all $$$$$$). The large, at $220 is at least $30 less than you can find anywhere else, plus shipping is free. If you make jam or candy, this is one of the best maslin pans available.
