After falling in love with Apple's aesthetic and function, Matias designed its Tactile Pro Keyboard with the same design and ALPS key switches featured on the Mac mechanical keyboards. After ALPS switches went off the market, Matias made some of its own and used them in the Matias Mini Tactile Pro, a travel-size keyboard that provides all of the function of a full-size board. The Matias Quiet Pro Keyboard has the same functionality but comes in black with legended keycaps fit for PC usage.
Note: This drop is for the Matias Mini Tactile Pro and Quiet Pro keyboards. The Tactile Pro comes with Matias Click ALPS switches and the Quiet Pro comes with Matias Quiet-Click ALPS switches. The keyboards have the same form but are different in color, switch type, and Mac vs PC printing capacities. Both keyboards are compatible with PC and MAC.
The unique Matias mechanical switches are ALPS-inspired. The Click switches give you tactile feedback and audible clicking that normally requires a typewriter to achieve, while the Quiet-Click switches are tactile but sound dampened.
Coming in a legend layout that has been specifically modeled after Apple keyboards, the Matias Mini Tactile Pro is one of the only mechanical keyboards that’s meant for your Mac. The Matias Mini Quiet Pro, on the other hand, has keycaps and legends based on PC keyboards. Every symbol has been laser-etched for maximum durability, and the secondary and tertiary functions of each key are printed right there on the caps. As for the keycaps themselves, their sculpted shapes cup your fingers perfectly, keeping your digits dexterous and as cozy.
The Matias Mini Pro keyboards come with three additional USB ports, anti-ghosting circuitry, and high polling rate, making these keyboards fully functional despite their small packaging.
