Matias installed Apple’s original ALPS keyswitches in all of their Tactile Pro Keyboards, but when the switches were taken off the market, Matias had to go back to the drawing board. After spending two years on design, Matias arrived at their own line of mechanical switches, complete with the same tactile sensation and high grade performance. Inspired by the classic Mac hardware and available in either Click or Quiet, a set of Matias Switches gives you the typing experience you’ve been chasing since your first time at a computer.
Note: On this drop, you have your choice between the Click and Quiet Switches.
These switches will not work with your keyboard unless they can handle Alps style switches!
What’s Clack-a-Lacking?
Compatible with all ALPS and Matias Keyboards, each set comes with 200 total switches. The original version is the Click, a mechanical switch with the most tactile and auditory feedback available on the market. Giving you the experience of a typewriter without the hassle of repair, an interior click leaf provides the tactile response and every switch is rated for 50 million cycles. As the switches are set into transparent housing, they allow your LED settings to shine right on through. Also featuring full n-key rollover and allowing for endless customizations, Matias Switches turn your keyboard into a serious machine.
Quiet Please
Arriving with the same quality build and tactile feel as the Click Switches, Matias’s Quiet Switches integrate both downward and upward sound dampening for a nearly silent approach. Making your strokes quiet enough to use in an office or library, you’ll never disturb others while typing, even if they’re lying in bed next to you.
