Tactile Pro Mechanical Keyboard

After falling in love with Apple aesthetic and function, Matias made their Tactile Pro Keyboard with the same design and ALPS keyswitches featured in the Mac mechanical keyboards. After ALPS switches went off the market, Matias made some of their own for their Matias Tactile Pro Keyboard, resulting in an all purpose mechanical keyboard that far exceeds the initial inspiration.

Construction

The unique Matias Click Mechanical Switches are the star of the show, giving you the tactile feedback and audible clicking that normally requires a typewriter to achieve. If you keep pressing your rubber dome keys and wondering where the response is, it’s time to type on a keyboard that actively engages you and helps maintain your writing rhythm.

Keycaps

Coming in a legend layout that has been specifically modeled after Apple keyboards, the Matias Tactile Pro is one of the only mechanical keyboards that’s meant for your Mac, not just an appropriated PC castaway. Every symbol has been laser etched for maximum durability and the secondary and tertiary functions of each key are printed right there on the caps. As for the keycaps themselves, their sculpted shapes cup your fingers perfectly, keeping your digits dexterous and as cozy as can be.

Operation

Built like the mythological Hydra, the Matias Tactile Pro Keyboard comes with three additional USB ports, so as you sacrifice one USB port, you gain three more. Finally, anti-ghosting circuitry and high polling rate give you rapid input and little lag, making the Matias Mini Tactile Pro a fully powerful device in a deceptively small package.
