For some reason every key in this set is in Elvish with a nice font. Except the backslash. I didn’t notice this before I bought the set, but now I can’t unsee it. When I put these on a keyboard, the backslash just stares at me like the eye of Sauron.
Go with one of Matt3o’s other Elvish sets, they’re much nicer.
I ordered just the modifiers and numpad to use on an ortho board. I have other keycaps that are higher quality, but these aren't bad and I just love the LoTR theme.
I got the Cyrillic set and I've been pretty happy with it. Really hope that this gets revisited in a chunkier, taller profile like SA though. An angry looking keycap set like this really needs the extra thunk from a taller cap to complete the experience. Sounds a bit anemic even with Box Navies across the entire board, but it's not a deal breaker.
I love the way these keycaps look on my numpad! Big Tolkien fan, so I had to pick up something when I saw this (wanted a full training set). My only issue is the texture of them is a bit scratchy. They don't feel like other keycaps, but they are also significantly cheaper. The DSA profile is kind of cool too.
I love the look of these but they turned out to be too shallow for my liking. That's probably my fault for not thoroughly researching the profile, and might be fine for others.
I would recommend, depending on what profile a friend is looking for.
