Simple question: does it come with manufacture warranty (document to prove that?)

DannielI would not count on it. If you see my previous posts, the warranty has to be filled out and STAMPED by the vendor who is selling it, and that vendor is supposed to be an authorized dealer for Maurice lacroix. In the last drop, in which I purchased mine, it had the same ad copy. I emailed Massdrop support and was able to get the vendor information. The movement in the watch is complicated as most watch movements are, but the price for an entire replacement 7751 is $400 from my local watchmaker and service by Maurice lacroix on their website is $465. Maurice Lacroix is also an independent watchmaker, they aren’t owned by Swatch group or Lvmh or citizen. They sell direct to the public, seem to have good reviews for customer service so I would hope they would honor the warranty.

WatchyoutalkingaboutThank you so much for the information regarding the cost for service & repair. I've always wanted this movement, but I've only found this on the Longines & Omega Speedmaster but way more expensive. So I joined here. Anyway, reading the description for the drop it seems that we getting the warranty directly from Maurice LaCroix, so it seems they'll honor a graymarket watch, but anyway it seems that the price + possible repair is still lost than the MAP price so this seems a good deal.

MarPablOutside of the two models you mentioned, the only other watch I could find was the Mido Baroncelli, and it just wasn’t to my taste. The omega version with moonphase is both used, and expensive. I’m not sure if any current variants have it. The warranty is really valuable in certain conditions, particularly if you wanted to sell the watch in a year, for example. But honestly, if you’re buying this it’s because you want the movement, you want it in a respectable bam, and you want it new. Knock on wood, I’ve been enjoying mine trouble free for a few months, and I’m sure it’ll be the same for you. If the warranty doesn’t come filled out, just email Massdrop until they give it to you and you’ll have it as a backup.

WatchyoutalkingaboutThank you I'll do so to get the vendor information. Indeed once I had the Longines and later I sold it. I regret that. TBH, few people really cares little if you're settling the watch higher because of the warranty... You're right the Mido also has this movement, but I also I like this one better. My precious experiences here are positive as well so I'm confident this time will be the same 🙏
