Here is my initial review after a day of ownership.

-This is a beautiful watch. The dial has a nice presence and the case is finished very nicely. I was worried that it would be too flat and white, but was pleasantly surprised with the overall character. The domed crystal and reflective surfaces create a variety of effects that help keep interest. Note that my photos are of the watch with protection film still on the crystal.

-The presentation of the watch is somewhat questionable. The inner box arrived covered with oily fingerprints, and the watch itself was covered in dust/dirt. Like DeathWatch, mine also had a few minor nicks on the case back (I was unable to get a good photo using my phone). There is also some resistance when winding and adjusting the time. My other watches are much smoother, so I am unsure whether this is a matter of break in time or if the movement needs servicing. The price paid still reflects a great value (assuming the movement is fine), so I'll deal with it, however this makes me wonder if we were actually sold b-grade or old stock watches.

-I wound the watch and kept an eye on it for the full day. It kept accurate time to the minute (there is no second hand). All functions work as advertised.
-Warranty card was stamped by ML, however the model, serial, and date of purchase are blank. I normally buy higher end watches used, so I do not know if we are supposed to fill this in ourselves, or if that would breach the terms of the warranty.
