I agree the pics are terrible but you can see some better ones on their website. Same set is double the price on Amazon. Looks like a rare home run by the boys at Massdrop. I love the handles and with a lifetime guarantee it seems like it's a great value. In my experience with cookware you really do get what you pay for, gonna pop on these.

stevefury68These aren't the best drop for this brand. There was a drop a few weeks earlier with the M'250c which are the ideal thickness for this material. I would honestly recommend anyone to save their money for the M'250c set.

kevin8715If that's the route you're going, hit the Request button so MD knows you're there: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/mauviel-m-250c-cookware-sets

kevin8715Kevin is right, but FYI - the Mauviel M'cook stainless sets are of the thicker 2.5mm variety and much, much cheaper. They're outstanding cookware and my usual go to set. I have a copper Mauviel frying pan with a stainless interior and a brass handle that is 2cm of copper thickness and it's very nice. I also have a lot of thinner, tin lined Baumalu pieces that I picked up very inexpensively at TJ Maxx. They're 1.5mm of thickness, and work just fine for most things - but I'm glad I paid the TJ Maxx prices for them. Baumalu is made in Alsace and not as nice as the Mauviel by any means but also $40 a sauce pot or small pan. The tin lining is very nonstick by nature but requires care and if you let the wrong house guest use it, can get scratched up. :/ Anyways, my long winded point is that if you want nearly the performance of the thicker copper set, get the stainless set - and then you can use it on induction as well without adapter discs.

inthewoodsI think you mean 2mm of thickness. If the copper was 2cm thick it would weigh a ton as thats about 3/4 of an inch.
