Not able to customize? No option for different input location/type. JDS Labs also makes a great version of this product. Handmade in St. Louis with excellent customer service.

This is audiophile blasphemy! How can an expensive DAC with fancy op-amps not make music sound 10^99999 times better than what's integrated into the hardware? Audiophiles have performed extensive ABX testing to demonstrate that even a monkey can hear the tremendous difference.

Cheaper doesn't always mean better. That amps gain settings are way too high for most headphones on the market.

The only weakness of the O2 is channel balance. Otherwise it's objectively transparent and powerful enough for practically any headphone -- very good price for that.
