MCHOSE takes a refined approach to material design, particularly when it comes to their finishes. The GX87 is an impressive mechanical keyboard that puts that same material pedigree at the forefront. CNC-machined from pure aluminum, the case features an impressively smooth finish that feels premium while you’re typing. And, because the case has a screwless, quick-disassemble build, you can easily customize what’s inside. The 80-percent layout and silicone gasket mounting (with leaf springs on the Ultra version) are welcome features for those who want a board that can cover a lot of ground while sounding and feeling great. The finish is available in three tiers: the Lite and Max versions feature 150 mesh finish, while the Ultra sports 180 mesh for a little more refinement. The bottom nameplate on the Lite version sports a PVD mirror finish, while the Max/Ultra versions go for ice crystal stainless steel. You can choose from HUANO Matcha Latte V2 Switches or KTT Vintage White Ultra Switches to complement the included doubleshot PBT, Cherry-profile keycaps and one random resin artisan keycap.
